Is promenade a nice place for dinner?

define nice? It's not a fancy LM, PG or RC by any means, but def nice enough to take dates there. its relaxed and spacious, has good drinks selection, very reasonable menu without the stuffiness or amount of jews of a kosher restaurant.

thats exactly what I'm looking for. Is Amsterdam burger a similar option?

I haven't been to promenade so I can't compare, but I wouldn't take a date to amsterdam burger. Great food and nice place, but waaaaaay to stuffy for a date. I heard every syllable of the conversation taking place next to me...

I would not suggest taking a date to Amsterdam Burger. As AROCKS1 said above you can hear every conversation around you, plus the tables are way too close together and the you can't talk due to the music. The food is great but the ambiance IMO isnt good for a date.

Amsterdam is now under the OU!!
They got rid of the buffalo nuggets, but the regular chicken nuggets were still bey good with the buffalo and ranch sauces. Service was also incredibly fast with apps arriving in less than 5 minutes and mains coming as soon as the apps were removed.

I'd rather go to Mocha for burgers then Boeuf any day.
A full lunch for 2 at B&B will be less than $100 IME.

Is promenade a nice place for dinner?
Don't take a date to the promenade. It's a sports bar; loud and crowded.

Why did they do that??
Buffalo nuggets and the pulled beef were the best 2 things they made.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

obviously on a big sports night its a no-go. but i've been there during a regular night and its pretty quiet and relaxed. more restaurant than bar

I'm at Sunflower now, so I will provide a little report as the meal progresses. Wanted to go to ABC but not open for lunch. Who knew?!

Milchig, chalav Ysroel, Vaad Harabonim of Queens. Picture of the Rebbe and Chabad tsedaka box, for what it's worth.

We ordered:
1. Israeli breakfast
2. Shakshuka with feta
3. Alaska roll and tuna sushi.

Menu photos attached. Will photo food when it arrives.

And our coffee and OJ have arrived.

Food is here. Actually almost half gone now! Service fast. Food fresh and tasty. Shakahuka 8/10. Sushi 8/10. Israeli bk 7/10. All solid.

Sorry no one was around for a spontaneous DO. ;)

Quick follow up. Neither of the breakfasts came with toast or bread of any sort. We didn't ask because we really didn't want/need (diet) but a little weird. The Israeli bk came with cream cheese. To eat plain?
