We were once discussing Mr. Broadway's happy hour which was fantastic. 7 dollars for 4 chicken fingers and a draft beer.

I went last night. Surprise number 1) Jacked the price up to 10. Ok, i can deal with that.

Surprise number 2 which i found ridiculous: they shaved it from 4 fingers to 3. (or in my case two and a half - one was tiny).

Happy hour is no longer so happy. i can find better value for that price then 3 chicken fingers.

Cutting it twice was stupid. Change the bundle or the price, but don't change both...

Yep mr Broadway jumped prices like almost double and less there signature food ,they trying to compete with steakhouses prices and dishes , its the 4th restaurant in Manhattan that went up like that in past 6 months or so , that means to me that kosher restaurants will be questionable in Manhattan,  rumours that abigayils opening up a location in brooklyn , rent os too high for kosher establishments ,only way to ask sky high prices

You have reserve cut, mikes bistro and prime grill.
If you're willing to go to Teaneck I would recommend ETC.

I had a great experience at prime grill, they're beef jererky appetizer is a must! Defiantly more happening then RC but we Sat upstairs and had a nice time.
As well there is prime on the Bentley, really depends on occasion, out doors of the porch on the couches are very nice as well, and the food is good!

PG is no longer in their glorious 57th st digs, but its now using the much smaller Solo space in the Sony building (no upstairs except 3 stairs up for a small private room). I still love their food (chef david is really great and one of the true innovators), but i have found that service has gone down a bit. but their steaks/food i believe are still top notch and equal to RC, though nowhere near the ambiance. really depends which location is more convenient for u.
