Pizza Da Solo

Ok. Are there any meat places, like to get burgers. My colleague wants to go to a treif place called Annie Moore's if that helps.

My 16-year-old daughter is in NYC and going to spend Shabbat with the Long Island family of a new friend. The family is shomer Shabbos and I presume "modern Orthodox," but I don't know any more.  Daughter wants to bring something for Shabbos, so I was suggesting maybe pick up baked goods at Zaro's. I understand that everyone has different kashrut, but I wonder if Zaro's is generally widely accepted or generally not accepted.  Thanks in advance. (Also, other suggestions for what she could bring would be welcome!)

Zaro's website:
We are under the auspices of the Orthodox Kashruth Supervision Services – Rabbi Harry Cohen, Rabbinic Administrator. You have come to the right place for kosher baked goods as this has been our specialty for over 85 years.

Maybe Bravos is nearby? I don't really know milchig restaurants in NYC.

I rarely eat out for milchig; the only place I'll splurge for milk is in Toronto

Bravo's is 37 and Broadway I believe. Once you are going that far there is Jerusalem Cafe on 36th between 5-6, they have a decent Breakfast menu, and pretty good overall menu that isnt expensive.

Thank you, all.
I subsequently got the same info from someone else, so my daughter went here.

She said it was a bit pricey, but  I told her probably not by NYC standards.

So Reserve Cut was the only restaurant to join NYC restaurant week with an incredible $29 3 course lunch special (with a 5oz Filet Mignon which was excellent), and with amex $5 off it came out to less than $35 with tax/tip even with a drink. Of course all the jews made free reservations that they probably so they had to push people away today from coming, and they tripled their staff for this week, and the place was still half empty!! Sometimes I just hate jews :(, though really the problem is that kosher restaurants don't require credit cards for reservations and take a $5 charge from the start...

Would just note that while usually their service isn't great (waiting for staff etc), today I was in and out on the 3 course IN LESS THAN AN HOUR! they really did a great job, but should have known who they were dealing with.
