I guess i forgot the steak sandwich. I would say 9/10. The filet, or "filet," had a more delicious taste, but the steak sandwich was more filling and came with the fries, which were tasty.

The desserts were a mix. The sorbets were delicious but nothing spectacular. Maybe 8/10. The other dessert was weird. I don't recall what they called it. It had a cake thing and a cookie thing and then had this balsamic vinegar and brown sugar thing. The latter had a weird taste... like vinegar and brown sugar. Not a great way to finish my meal. 2/10.

Overall, it was still an expensive lunch, but it was special and glad we experienced it.

PS. Service was excellent. Really excellent. Totally attentive but not pushy or stuffy. Nice how the maitre d guy came over and pushed chair in for DD. Waitress was Friendly and happy to swipe 5 Amex cards.
RC top service very nice

Small Mocha burger TR

Went with our 2 kids:

Appetizers: Jumbo Guacamole & Nachos $15
Was good 7.5/10

Beef Satay
Was OK 6/10 $13

Kids meals:
Hot dog + Fries $12
Kids loved it 10/10

Spaghetti + Meatballs $15
Wasnt meatballs was chili so it was a little spicy but she liked it so 7/10
Also this is half the portion they were nice enough to split it in 2 so my kids could share it

Our burgers (almost the same I think she had lettuce and I didn't
We took the mb classic $13 and added pulled beef for $4. We asked for guacamole which didn't come that would have been another $3 8.5/10 would have been 10/10 with guacamole

Drink:LYCHEE COOLER $9 6/10

Dessert: Oreo crunch $12 8.5/10

Overall we were happy and would go back. (This was our second time here but first time was with no kids)
Why add avocado when Yu you got the large bowl just add it yourself if your into that Mexican burger type

Good point! All their rolls were in that range. I guess they charge that much because fools like me will pay for it.

Was it just a regular roll? 8 reg pieces?

A Le Marais tr:

I haven't been in over a year to this place and I had forgotten what a teensy tiny menu they have! I'm so used to having a couple pages to choose from.

We drank: ($15 for each cocktail)

White one is a Tom Collins- delicious!
Brown one is a Rob Roy- yuck. (Apparently we don't like brandy). Changed it for a fruit punch
Red one- fruit punch. Yum

Entrecôte- Rib Eye. Was very good. Fries were excellent $39

Chili- was ok $15

Half roasted chicken that we subbed the fries for green beans $22 + extra $5 for veg (is it just me or is that outrageous?)

Dessert:

Chocolate mouse. Omg delicious!! $9.50

Berries plate. So amazing! Very fresh. Only complaint is that it wasn't right temp. Was a bit on the warm side. Warmer than room temperature even. $12.50

Profiteroles. Better than expected. This was so good! $11.50

Ice cream. Was alright. Nothing special. $9

Tax + tip: $266

Hmm,2 mains and 4 desserts?
The only dessert there I wasn't a fan of was the chocolate moose.
So the berries plate is just a serving of warm strawberries and blueberries for $12.50?
And small menus are better.

2 of us got the steak. one of us took chili as a main.

and $5 for green beans instead of fries isn't a rip-off??

smaller menus are classier and maybe better. doesn't change the fact that im used to huge menus- even in fine establishments. also- they were out of so much stuff. the bacon thing, prime rib, a chicken thing (don't remember)... if you're going to have just 10 entrees at least stock those well.
