I'm aware. But if they can replicate the Clubhouse burger maybe I should be going there for lunch instead of ABC/MB/B&B, etc.
If you asked earlier I would have tasted it for you! I already had abigaels and I'm stuffed. Had the brisket eggroll and chicken poi boi wrap both very good! But I will add this burger on my Lunch list for next week!

i have tried lots of NY Burgers (like most of you) and i highly recommend a Porcini Burger. i had it at PG years ago and recently got twice at RC, their version says: ½ LB. WAGYU STEAK PORCINI BURGER GRILLED ONION, BEEF ‘BACON’ AND PORCINI MUSHROOM & FRIES. its $34 bucks but truly excellent (medium rare).

Looks good. Will have to try it sometime. Though I had a burger from their lunch special in the past and didn't care for it.

I do think the best burgers in the US right now are the Milt's Burger and the La Gondola mushroom/onion burger.

the normal RC burger is way to thin and just a waste (even with the new beef fat/sundried tomato sauce they recently added).
also peeps should note that in recent weeks the $29 RC lunch special has gone down in value imho due to them starting to use thinner cuts of meat for the 5 oz fillet. last time i ordered i realized 5 min later they didnt ask me how i would like it cooked, so i got a waiter and they said they now have them thinner and they just do them medium well/well since thats what people have asked for. if thats true (no clue), i really hate my fellow jews sometimes...

The burger is all that plus an incredibly delicious (and thick) patty.

It was pretty good, though I did have better, at $16 it ain't cheap either. Line was also over 15 minutes in the cold.

+1 probably the best burger I've ever had.

Guess quality was compromised because they were busy, burger was overdone and there was barely any smoked pulled beef on it. La Gondola burger is my favorite.

Anywhere in NYC that has Veal or Lamb Schwarma?
Pita Hot in KGH has lamb. I like it, but have no basis for comparison.

Was this from tonight in 5-towns ?
When I had it, the burger was perfectly mid rare with some great flavour.

I'm not the guy that takes burgers at steak houses. But have close family members that do. You will be paying close to or upwards of $30 but they claim PG and Bordeaux (in Brooklyn) both have the most amazing burgers.
