Hi, we're interested in a sushi restaurant in Manhattan, specifically a place where we can "eat in." Looking for a nice environment but not stiff/fancy...not sure if there is such a thing.  Is Sushi Tokyo in Chelsea Pier an option, or is it take-away only?

Do you mean Sushi Tokyo in Chelsea? As in the one located at 121 W 19th St?
It does have some seating, not much.

Boru Boru — we got:
Starters:
Fries 8/10 could have been crispier.
Wings (chili) 10/10
Fried gyoza 8/10 a bit too garlicky
Bao buns (one of each variety)—10/10. DW liked the mushroom best.

Chicken shoyu ramen—8/10. A spice I couldn’t identify that didn’t float my boat
Pastrami ramen—9/10

Overall, nice dinner and nice place.   Had better food at Upside Grill night before.
