Looking for recommendation for take-out or catered Shabbos meals, ideally pick up in or deliver to UWS. Expecting ~10 people.

I found Prime Events by Mindel Chayra (O-U)

Hi, Does anyone know the kashrus situation with Bagel Boss on 3rd and 36?
I see they have certification from R Asher Schechter- I am not familiar with his hechsher and not clear if this location is Cholov Yisroel or not. If anyone has any info please share.

Thanks

If Colbeh is still delivering to Manhattan they had plentiful, delicious, and abundant Shabbat packages that would work great for you.

Also check out Talia’s, they might have something workable for you. They have pre-paid prix-fixe Shabbat sit down dinner and likely have similar options for deliver.

Thank you.
The gathering  was actually last Shabbos.
We ended up getting Deli Kasbah (recently renamed Kasbah Grill), which was excellent, good value, generous portions, fresh.

We have been to Talia’s many times — agree it is good, but kind of overpriced and nothing special.  They have a monopoly on pre-paid Shabbat…I wish someone would give them some competition.

Thanks again for the response. .

Abaita continues to impress me. they are a top notch place with an excellent menu and service. It is small so i wouldnt recommend kids.
They are big sticklers for reservations so make sure you make one. (a big plus IMO)

The OU only accepts meat under OU hechsher. In the past when I checked into it there was no slaughterhouse with OU that didn't also have a chassidishe hechsher. This may have changed and may have been for only beef or poultry, but you can reach out to them and they should be pretty open about this.
