Restaurants are very objective, granted it has been a few months since I've been to either.
Tabernacle with the exception of the hot pot and Caesar salad, the rest of the food was really mediocre imo. (drinks were good though)
Barnea just wasn't very memorable both times I've been.
Any person I've recommended or brought to Noi Due Carne always came back with very positive things to say.
Again, על טעם וריח אין להתווכח.
Had KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN a week ago and it was insane. I don't understand how it can be ranked as mediocre. Also a massive portion size for an app.

I had it to go and ate it 3 hours later and it was still some of the crispiest fried chicken I've ever had.

Did you not like the spice to it?

I remember having it based on others recommending it, it was ok but nothing amazing based on what I was expecting. It was totally not memorable to me, maybe when I had it it was an off day?

Chef has changed 3x since they opened and again recently it seems.

If you haven't had it recently, it's likely a different recipe that was I had last week.

As I've mentioned before, nothing in the kosher world is Michelin star quality even on the same night two dishes can be vastly different.

You are a 100% correct.
I would say I do not go out to eat as often as I used to, prices have gone up like crazy and as a result I really want the experience to be amazing.
Reserve Cut has never let me down.
Noi Due Carne has consistently been really great and I've always wondered why it's not more popular

Anyone been to Dar Yemma? It's a new place that just opened up. Reviews and pictures remind me of the legendary Darna, if anyone remembers.

No, I think it opened up in the former Colbeh NYC location. I believe it's the same manager (Simon) as Colbeh but this is now his own restaurant.

The one in Queens is halal, the Manhattan one is kosher

Ah that's funny, I just looked up the one in queens and although they have the same name, that one isn't kosher. The one in NYC seems to be very new, don't see a full website up yet.

Yeah me too but guess they went in another direction. I do wish Paprika would open again, really liked that place. They did open a Paprika in Great Neck if you want to come visit.
