The Lamb chili ($19), burger ($25 with fries and salad), and peppercorn crusted steak ($55 with fries and salad, also available as Tournedos without peppercorn crust) are all excellent. Or the base steak, salad, and fries is just $36. Top it off with warm chocolate cake and ice cream or a creme brulee for $12.
Had the chili and the pepper corn all great ! Interesting vibe and happy to have discovered this place.

@Dan and @jj10O0 To be fair, I don't think that you can compare the ambiance and service at Le Marais to the more higher end Manhattan kosher dining experiences like Barnea, Tabernacle or Reserve Cut. Yes, not all live up to that high end experience, but it is included in the cost of the food. While the food is a good "value" at Le Marais, my most recent visit included sitting at a wobbly table on top of what was likely the vent from the basement kitchen that caused the floor under my chair to be vibrating the entire meal.

Who said it's comparable??
OP asked for a steak dinner that would be under $150 for a couple.

Outback is like fast-food steaks. Le Marais is of course better.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Went last night to Noi Due Carne and were very not impressed. The service was really nothing special. Maybe we ordered the wrong things but the food was really below what we expected and have had at many other higher end restaurants. It was ok and the food was interesting but for the price we paid we left unhappy.
We like RC, Tabernacle, Mike's.

Gotta say had a really yummy corn soup special at wsg today (they let us split into 2 bowls which I think is a good value bc u don’t need a full bowl), close to baby food but much more complex and fresh.

Then we shared the prime rib sandwich, which is a lot at $46 but I found better than the steak sandwich special from tabernacle (about the same price with the +15 addition to the otherwise great 29 lunch special, but minus the great free app u get at tabernacle).
Also shared the short rib sandwich again, which is very messy but awesome. But either way, really hard to work after those.

I am related to one of the main people behind the restaurant and got a 10% discount…
