This is what upsets me the most.

This type of service happens every day to regular customers with no platform.

When it happens to us, if we report it, we are made out to be the devil.

But that's just because we aren't asking restaurants for free meals or to get paid for reviews.

So we have real reviews.

But when we give real reviews to help others, we are now the bad guys.

Not sure what the right balance is.

I second this. I’ve been there myself & know many other ppl who have been there & are always impressed by their impeccable service & food. I don’t doubt for a second what happened to Dan & JJ but theres always some rotten apples - you don’t fill up a restaurant the way they do & have the name they have with bad service & mediocre food for such a long time - they’re not a new hype… & at the end you walked out with the backing of the man in charge. Obviously should’ve never had to get there & that waitresses welcome is quite something, def sounds like a  big disappointment

I’m at wsg right now (related to an owner) and crazy how big their succah is, they used the whole garden area adjacent to the restaurant and even have a washing station. Crazy to have this in nyc.

Was recently at Rosies kosher pizza in Manhattan. Great small pizza place with decent prices. Has CRC Hisachdus and OK hechsher.

How’s the pizza?

Jerusalem cafe is massive, if you go when they aren’t busy it’s quite nice for a pizza shop. Prices seem to be the same/cheaper than Rosie’s, and the Pizza is pretty good.
