Tell me what upscale kosher restaurant does not have obscene prices.

Prime bistro in 5t is pretty decently priced.

I live on the LES...
According to the word on  the street - the new cafe is happening although when it will happen is another question...
With regard to the bagel shop - Kossars - the hechsher is Rabbi Fishelis - R' Dovid Feinstein's son in law - and is considered a very reliable hechsher in our neighborhood.
Is Kossars Yoshon?

Was at Eden Wok last week:

Pastrami Egg Roll (3.95) - I liked it a lot, even though it tasted 100% fast food
Crispy Shredded Beef (19.95) - ok, nothing special, sauce was good, meat was crispy enough to enjoy

Are all kosher restaurants supposed to be on the wiki? (idk how to insert them) (info came from www.koshernear.me and google):

Not everything is that expensive. You can get the steak sandwich, which is one of the best, for about $18 (cheaper if you take it to go.) Their salads are also great and not too expensive.

My brother basically lived on this for a while when he found out about it - pretty much lunch every single day.

Good to know I guess. But steak sandwich is not the same as a big boy steak IYKWIM.

I am always on the prowl for a superb burger. My friend mentioned he noticed when he was at Reserve Cut they had added a burger to their dinner menu. I looked it up-
"WAGYU STEAK BURGER // 46 Porcini & Truffle Chicken Liver Pate, Cajun Spiced Sweet Potato Fries, & Grilled Vidalia Onion , Sesame Seed Brioche Bun 12 oz."
46.00 for a burger! Definitely the most expensive burger I have ever seen in a kosher restaurant. Has anyone tried it?

I never had it yet, but the lamb burger at prime on the Bentley is amazing.

Considering their lunch special burger was barely edible I wouldn't risk it.

Anyone seen the episode of HIMYM about the best burger in NY?
Every once in a while this thread reminds me of it . . .

Their lunch burger doesn't profess to be composed of Wagyu meat.

No, but I don't care for cinnamon in my burger.

Im a big fan of RC, but i would steer clear. i got the wagyu ribeye ($90!!) and wile it came on a bigger plate with a thing of marrow, it tasted and looked pretty much exactly like the normal rib eye (neither is their best steak, i think the RESERVE CUT is the best one for the money $52, though not available at lunch). i wouldnt be surprised if its their same reg burger with some nice touches, or maybe 5% wagyu inside. IIRC they have wagyu sliders and they were nothing to write home about. go up to amsterdam burger and get a tuna steak sandwich to start, sunny side burger and/or maybe lamb burger (or wings with ranch), all for the same price :)

Suggestion for a lunch place that can sell anything but also sells sushi?
I will be in the W 50's and will most likely be walking, so UWS is probably out of the Q.
