Thanks. Now I have to figure out how to time our rendezvous.
A bunch of guys at my office picked up from here this past Monday. All had great reviews and larger group planning for this coming Monday (Monday is the only day that is not too far from our office- they are on 21st and 5th on Mondays).

Is this the same Shuka truck that's on Governors Island or Sundays?

It's the same truck, but their website doesn't have them listed on GI on Sundays anymore. Would appreciate if you could get clarification.

Was gone for four days, don't recall mentioning it on DDF :D

Doesn't match whats on their site, funnier that they have a feed on their site showing the last FB comment and it's a question about which schedule is accurate.

Any recommendations at Colbeh?  I have a business lunch there and have never been there before.

The food is amazing, albeit authentic ethnic food, so it has to be up your alley.  If you're not into exotic foods stick to menu items that are in English.

The fesenjoun (a pomegranate/walnut stew) was amazing, but it didn't look nearly as appetizing as it tasted. They also had a few different rice dishes (red, green, orange and yellow IINM) which were all delicious.

Fish was fresh, ambiance nice, decent portion sizes.

Please report back on how it went.

Thanks, I like trying new things and experimenting. I will report back. If anyone has any input on a must try dish, please post.

DW, son and I would like to have special dinner tomorrow night in Manhattan. Please advise: RC vs. Wolf & Lamb? Do we need reservations?

RC is way better in my opinion, higher tier. I would make a reservation to be safe even though you probably could show up.

Get ready for the smallest portions ever.
At least they taste amazing.  Order an app (duck gnocchi!) +soup (corn is heaven in a bowl) +entree (short ribs!) +fries (some of the best anywhere) +dessert and there's no way you leave remotely hungry. Throw in a frozen passion fruit margarita for good measure.

I've had 2 ultra-expensive steaks at RC ($60-$100) and both were disappointing.  Only other places I've had such expensive steak was at Shallots and and Tierra Sur, and those places do far better with them.
RCs lunch menu is far more appealing to me. The steak sammy is awesome and a much better value than their dinner menu.
Yes, the short rib tacos are amazing as well.

Can anyone recommend a good deli for me? There are some days I long to fly just to PKD for their brisket sandwich...
