Interesting idea by Dan to get the $32 lunch steak sandwich. Maybe get one of those and 1 of the restaurant week meals. Or perhaps 2 restaurant week meals but add in the tacos...

I gotta say the steak sandwich is quite good and normally one of their better values, but it doesn't compare to the fresh perfectly cooked and seasoned 5 oz steak, which was truly excellent. And I've had the steak sandwich prob 10 times (with varying levels of steak quality). the soup added in makes this short time lunch deal a great value.

And Dan, I thought I mentioned it here, but that wagyu steak is truly not worth it, I think they just put on a regular ribeye with a marrow bone on a nicer plate to charge the extra $40 (I taste tested side by side with their regular excellent aged ribeye), sorry u had to suffer on that out of pocket...
BTW, a friend went today, still half empty. I still hate jews (and its the 3 weeks!!). I assume RC is going to take a loss for the next couple weeks with all the extra staff they seem to have brought on.

re the $5 off $35 per swipe, we just asked the waiter to split our order into 3 charges of $40 each (with tip, we also got beer) and they were happy to. I probably wouldn't have asked if they were full/busy.

not that much, I end up averaging once a month, but that's bc its the only kosher place downtown to take non-Jewish clients/partners.

Excellent plan; this is why u are the dealking. would just suggest that if u are with sushi-loving peeps they may want to share a smaller but delish tuna tartar instead (I know its harder to share, but a nicer change of palate for app).

Sounds like a great deal don't get me wrong but if your going out with your wife you know she's going to want a full steak there goes that idea

She won't for lunch. Additionally, if my idea is that the steaks here are overpriced, then this is a good opportunity to experience the "best ambiance in Kosher dining" without having to drop $250.
