It's unreal how a king can go down from 1000 to zero ,having multiple high end establishments for years

Prime Grill closed down and nobody even realized (or cared). That's how bad it had gotten.

Reserve Cut has also done a number on the other high-end Kosher Establishments. Nobody has been quite able to measure up or keep pace.

I just got an invite earlier this week to my company's Holiday party to take place at the Prime Bentley in December (we did it there the last 2 years). I wonder if they will still do events or if we need to find a new location.
I sent a note to the planners.

Can I get some clarity here? When did prime grill close down? Reserve cut also or they’re still open? What about their Brooklyn store?

Were any kosher restaurants reviewed by the New York times (or an equally prestigious publication)?

Doma Land + Sea (relatively new place in Cederhurst) was just written about on newsday.com.

Confirmed, party cancelled- working on a new venue... Surprising that they took our reservation and deposit last week.

I'm planning to meet up with some old friends in Manhattan in late December.  I haven't been to the city in a few years, but I've eaten at La Marais several times and would rather try something new.  Is there one or two fleishig restaurants uptown that really stand out above the rest?  I think the last place I ate at was that tappas restaurant that closed a few years ago.
