If you're willing to go to Teaneck, I would go to either nobo or etc over r.c. - much better bang for your buck.

etc tasting menu is a steal and the food and service is as good as anywhere. Plus BYOB from the kosher wine store around the corner (if it is mevushal) can save you a nice amount of money.

Have you tried La Brochette? Really loved it when I went recently for the first time.

who has better food la brochete or UN? Cant decide where to go.... only two restaurants that i see anybody really enthusiastic about that i haven't been to

Ambiance is a bit nicer at UN Plaza. Food is about the same as are the prices.

Different leagues in what way? Taste? Price? Ambiance? Service? Even the 3 you listed are not in the same category for some of those items. And because I have a minute to be bored, I'll cause the trouble I usually do in this thread. The food at La Brochette destroyed Mike's, and I didn't leave hungry so that's another plus! Apps at least equated to RC's, can't compare the steaks as I never tried the expensive ones at RC. LB is also much more intimate that the huge open Mike's floor plan and even more so than RC depending where you sit. Haven't been to UN, can't comment on that.

ABC is moving down the block in September to a place that is "3 times the size" and may begin taking reservations. Finally!

went to un last week for lunch and was ridiculously underimpressed with everything other than the actual space/look which was nice. not on RC/Mikes level.

After searching high and low... Mikes, UN, RC, La Brochette ... the VERY best steak IMO can be found at... drum roll please.... La Meries Steak for 2 ( Core De Boeuf)

Lmao. Even mocha burger has a steak for two (tomohawk) which is better than that lol. Maybe lists the steaks you bought with the temp plus sides so we could maybe help you out.
