Looks amazing.
If you don't mind me asking, how many people were eating together?

$245 for a steak ? how many oz ?

Same question I was trying to figure what cost so much. The picture captioned tomahawk steak didn’t seem like a $245 portion.

Rothschild TLV.

While the portions might look small the flavors are bursting, was really hoping to get the Foi Gras appetizer but you have to order that in advance.

And last but not least the receipt 7/10, Expensive!

The chef kept coming out to check if everything was good,
I dont really like cocktails but they looked really cool.
They do need a bigger wine menu.

Thanks for posting.

After seeing pics of 2 places I’ve never been to, Barnea and Rothschild, it really underscores how important the plating is. While you both gave great reviews, the Barnea pics makes my mouth water while the Rothschild plating is sloppy and meh. Also the cigar plate reminds me of a toilet seat.

You don’t think plating is important or do you think Rothschild plating is as nice as Barnea? I think anyone here will agree that plating is important especially in a high end restaurant. And look at the plating of the Barnea desserts that Dan criticized. It’s underwhelming compared to the rest of the menu. AJKs pics are nice but I don’t think they are the reason Barnea food looks much better.

Of course I agree plating is important and adds to the overall experience.
But to me it won't be a deciding factor, and it won't be the reason my mouth waters or not.

DW wants a date night, she suggested Rothschild. Also have a gift certificate to reserve cut, haven't been in a while. Go back to reserve cut or Rothschild?

If you have a GC use the GC.
Who knows the viability of any restaurant.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

What about the viability of the marriage? If DW wants Rothschild then give DW Rothschild!  ;D ;D ;) ;)
