For dairy, Noi Due and Abaita are probably the top 2 kosher dairy restaurants in the Western Hemisphere.

Thanks for all the recommendations, everybody. Willing to spend some $$ so Reserve Cut it is. Never been. We went to Abaita last trip and it was awesome. Will try Noi Due for dairy this time.

Dan - we are into all of the above :) What’s one more lunch/milchig place you would recommend?

Personally I'd do Barnea or Tabernacle over Reserve cut, but that's personal preference. All are $$$.

Does the lunch have to be milchig? Narruto Bowl is amazing, though not in the city. I love the burger special and a bowl of lamb chili at Le Marais for lunch. Otherwise, Abaita and Noi Due.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Abaita lunch was pricy but refreshing

Tuna crudo (was fuller plate but we can’t control ourselves, most pieces were excellent dark yellowfin tuna and the lightly pickled veggies were great combo

Heirloom tomato salad with some yogurt sauce was so refreshing and yummy (like most dishes here, portion is not large but it’s still $18)

Fried artichoke was pretty good but the bottoms were stringy/hard to eat.

Mushroom and cheese filled green ravioli was good but some may be put off by smell. Wood oven lasagna was ok but I didn’t love the creamier tomato sauce.
All in check with a mocktail for mrs was about 180.

Tabernacle did not disappoint!

We got to sit in the barrels which were pretty cool and intimate.
For me the best dish was the filet mignon.  Was a perfect temp with a perfect crust.

Their drinks were also amazing.

Service was a 10/10 as well.

(The prices were utterly outrageous. I told my wife we paid $250 for dinner and $200 for a nice experience.  :) I never spent so much on dinner but I had no regrets.)

Went to Tabernacle last night with friends. We had a great experience. This place rocks! They are happy to hear comments and improve.
Food we had:
Coconut soup was not our taste t all 1/10 (see below more on this)
Lamb Rillette was very tasty 9/10
Grilled Flanken was delicious (spicy) 8/10
Caesar salad was very cool and was exceptional good 9/10 (never thought I would write that, on green salad (AKA animal food)
fillet rib steak (16 oz.) was very good with a lot of spices on it 8/10
Bone in for 2 (38 oz.) very juice and perfect Medium well done 9/10
Grilled chicken  (for those that don't like beef) was phenomenal tasty 9/10
mashed potatoes was very creamy and tasty 9/10
Mixed sauté mushroom was good 7/10
French fries and dips was delicious 8/10
Chocolate fondue was a winner 9/10 (they did substitute the grapes for cherries as they were out of grapes, that was interesting as well)
chefs choice ice cream and sorbet  was ok 7/10
The dugouts were good but we have had better ones 8/10
Drinks were all very good (although they don't have slushy style daiquiris yet) 8/10

We spotted a Heimishe guy there, that says he was from "ownership", he said he is here to get the place rolling. we told him to get rid of the coconut soup..., he said this soup is a love it or hate it and they are aware about that and working on offering a new soup on the menu.
They are definitely trying their best and they are working on making this even a better place.
BTW he did take the soup off our bill which was a nice gesture.

Some cool things:
The ambiance is very nice.
They have 4 "MRI style" wooden barrels that you can sit in and dine and have your privacy, if you want.
They make this "famous" Caesar salad in front of you.
They bring out to the table the raw cut of meat so you can inspect it, before they grill it. They offered us to sprinkle on some truffle for $70... no, thanks!
They tall waiter with the white hair, middle aged, was super friendly and honest, he told us what to take and what not to take....The soup he told us you will either love it or hate it, no in between.

All in all, very nice experience will return and we had a great time.

Extra: The next table to us, sat a few El Al Executive VP's VP of customer service, VP of mileage and points (I didn't know Elal has a mileage program..... ) and 2 more VP's we had a nice chat with them.

Why was my experience different?

They didn't make the salad at the table.

They didn't show the piece of meat.

They didn't refund the unchewable steak.

Anyway, I'm happy to hear that they are constantly looking to improve and are inviting constructive criticism.
