Looking for a recommendation (or a few):
We're going to be around 15 people, (mostly non Jews), so extra points for a place that has a private room or quieter nook to book.
Looking for good food of course, plenty of options/fun menu. Ideally aiming for nicer but not break the bank- is 100-150 pp range realistic? And what are some of the best choices?

Needs to be venue that doesn't ask.....upon entry

Thanks
Look into Colbeh

Look into Colbeh

I’m a huge Colbeh fan, the (plentiful) food, ambiance, and service are superb IMHO. But at the same time it’s far from a traditional steakhouse and some of their menu items (e.g. Sabzi Gormeh, Fesenjun, crispy rice) are very ethnic and not for everyone’s palette.

+1 on Colbeh. They also have a private room you may be able to reserve. Have gone there for several team events with non-jewish coworkers and they love the flavors and variety of cusines

We once had a DO in a Mike's Bistro private room.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Did that room this week. Place is so noisy and it strikes you when you shut the door.

I didn’t mean he was looking for a steakhouse, was just saying that Colbeh is out there in an ethnic sense, not necessarily in a gastronomy/fun/fusion sense.

Yes thats why I said to look into it, to make sure he is comfortable with the menu, but they have steak ancd chicken that anybody would like as well as the rices. They have plenty of options and should be able to satisfy any pallete, as well as a private room and for Manhattan they fit into his budget

Sen Sakana has a private room. As it relates to your price and whether feasible - question is whether it includes drinks.

Does anyone have current information on which restaurants in NYC have outdoor seating, and how the experience was (heat, space, etc)? This is more for the higher end restaurants.
