Guy with 1 year old triplets flies to NYC for salad twice in a month

This guy sounds like a crazy person.

guy in CH makes it even once for a free salad.

Free salad? It would end up being the most expensive salad I've ever eaten by long shot.

Had grilled salad.

Didn't care for it.

Also chef updated Risotto recipe, it's awful now.

Flanken was incredible.
Salad was pretty standard.

Risotto was awful indeed. They should really stop serving that.

Wow I can't recall a time I've ever requested a refund at a restaurant. It must be really horrific.

Table of 8 adults and no one touched it. Also genuinely wanted to tell the chef what did he do to it, was 9/10 last time I got it before he changed the recipe.

Went to Bonito. Overall the place is nice and food & service are very good, but I didn't feel like there was anything really special that would be worth returning to - the appetizer/tapas concept sounds great in theory but in practice it's just regular NY restaurant dishes, but pretty cramped and noisy with low ceilings.

Hamachi Crudo - 8/10
Ahi Tuna Tower - looked great on other tables but didn't try it
Heirloom Panzanela Salad - 3/10
Chared Brussels Sprouts - 10/10 - very oily though so probably יצא שכרו בהפסדו
Catalonian Bombas - 2/10
Hen of the woods - 9/10
Baby Lamb Lolipops - 9/10 perfectly cooked
Chocolate Mousse Parfait - 5/10
Crème Catalana - 7/10

Pretty sure it's named after Bonito in St Barths. A shame it isn't more like it though

Rothchild TLV hands down best place. No standard pulled tacos or all the stuff u find in 99% of kosher places. Also the desserts are miles ahead of every other restaurant.

10 miles ahead. 100%

Other places have better mains, but they have the best desserts I ever had in a restaurant.

was there a few months back. don't remember details much. Enjoyed in general as we were looking for somewhere quiet and large spaces between tables. Think prices were low for Manhattan standards, was definitely in general not high end like barnea etc..
