Le Marais is great of course.

We enjoyed PrimeKo and had good service but others have had bad service there.  The steaks there aren't great but the Japanese dishes were delicious.

I recently went to Ladino with my wife and we loved it.  A little crowded though.

We ended up at Prime at the Bentley and had our usual experience there. Great views, Average ambiance and food and almost non-existent service. I think that its the kinda place that you go to once for the experience.

Had no issues with service at prime at the Bentley when I went.... It was rather empty though.

+1

I sent back my steak and they were none too pleased about it. All the other dishes were great.
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

I have heard the same from others as well, seems like it's best to avoid the steak and enjoy the other fun dishes which are very good.

Hence:
We enjoyed PrimeKo and had good service but others have had bad service there.
We actually had really good service, so it's definitely YMMV.

I had major problems with food and service at Abigael's.
I'd give the nod to Le Marais any day over them.

I wonder if we can make a poll of people honest opinions of Abigaels vs Le Marais, In the Non ddf world I think Abigaels is considered at least as good as Le Marais imo

Go for it in JS.
I think it was the NYT that compared LM and TPG and they like LM and hated TPG.
Wheras TPG always had a better rep in the non-DDF world.

TPG went downhill ever since they switched chefs. The original chef was Hok Chin and under him, the food was amazing. My first Delmonico there was an experience that hasn't been rivaled yet. Not even by subsequent Delmonicos.

and the ribs? I never had them back then, but now imo its the best thing to get
