prime grill reopens today in new location. 25 W 56th St
Anyone who goes let us know how it is, its supposed to be a much expanded menu (possibly to include some of Solo's dishes)

PG always had a larger menu than Solo.

+1 on ETC
A short While back they took on an in-house pastry chef
IMHO the desserts have improved drastically

I went last night. I really enjoyed the appetizer and main (hanger steak with a wild cherry sauce), but I was not a fan of the dessert at all.

yes, but now it should be even larger as supposedly they were adding solo dishes to the PG menu in addition to their regular menu.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. Maybe the new pastry chef hasn't started yet?

How do you think it compares to the NYC restaurants?

I think the steak can at least parallel an NYC steak, it might even be better.

Went to the new Prime Grill tonight. Its absolutely beautiful and ranks among the nicest Kosher Restaurants that I've ever been to. Probably double the size of the old ones.

Menu has been expanded and has the old favorites as well. Food was the usual good though I wasn't feeling so great so didn't eat much.

Just got home from ETC Steakhouse.  Ordered the rack of ribs which is REALLY 2 large racks of ribs.  Very juicy and filling!  I brought home half of it for tomorrow's dinner.  Dessert tonight was a big hit!
