Started a wiki.
Feel free to add in which dishes are must haves at each place and add in more places as needed.

Added a few dishes and made it a bit more pleasing visually.

Feel free to add your handle if you agree to someone's suggestion.

Looks like a good system.
Any ideas for how to incorporate ratings for each place?

Not sure.

But FTR, I've only added things to the above that are "standouts."

Going to a place and having a "good" steak does not warrant placement in the wiki, IMHO.

With two kids? Although I'm sure we'll go to each for shabbos at some point
Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.

No family here. And the wife is busy all week. Days off we like to spend with the kids

Can we change the title to NYC Kosher Restaurants so we can include Basil and Pardes in the wiki?
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

Finally made it to RC. The interior is way nicer than any other kosher place in NYC, but I am not a big fan of the food. Mikes and PG are definitely better. Service is friendly but the food took a very long time to be served.

I don't think PG is better. Service is something that can be fixed with time.

Filet Mignon, Pepper Steak, Sliders, Sweetbreads, and some baked potato/mushroom contraption. I don't think the food came close to PG/Mikes. They did have a pretty good Italian wine.

The experience overall was pretty good and I will definitely go back.

They plan on opening for lunch eventually.

Lol...you would eat all that :D

I can't say I was that impressed with TPG when we went the week they opened. Have they improved?

I wasn't alone. Btw the guy who was with me thought the food was amazing.

I've found better things on the menu like flatbread, duck, one of the steaks. I still think Mike's is the best.

When are we going again?

"Have they improved?" Lets see...I showed up around 9:00 last night, after seating us and and waiting 15 minutes a waiter finally approached us and asked us what we would like to order. For the entrees I requested the nightly special T Bone steak and my wife requested the Porcini burger. The waiter proceeds to inform us that they only had literally 5 options available from the entree menu. None that was of any interest to us. The largest steak they had available was a 10 oz fillet. We proceeded to get up and leave to a steakhouse that doesn't run out of steak- Le Marais.

To answer your question- evidently not.
