Yeah, they're smaller than I'd like for what they charge, but if you're looking for quality, it's tough to be beat.

And yet again, Mike's fails to disappoint.

Had a standout meal there last night. You simply cannot go wrong with Mike's. Oh and they're closing the UWS location.

Are they opening another location?

True, but order an app, their awesome fries,  and a dessert and I don't think you'll leave hungry.

Went to Reserve Cut again last night. I was with a party of 6 so we ordered a few appetizers for the table.
Grilled Wagyu angus ribs were really good, we also got Veal sweet breads, Wagyu sliders and Veal tortelini (which was not on the menu) was not a huge fan of the sweet breads and the sliders were ok, but the Veal tortelini was amazing! one of the best appetizers I have had! For the main I got the Angus Filet Au Champignon which I love. Service was much better then it was the 1st time I went. Desserts still not amazing, but I ordered the peanut butter mousse which was really good, I couldnt finish it because it was too rich for me.

Went to prime grill last night and had an awful experience. I'm hanging up the jersey on the Primes. Only one worth visiting is KO and only for appetizers.

Why does everyone hate on PG here? went there with the mrs. a couple nights ago and had an amazing time. it is extremely expensive, but so is le marais mike's place etc. and the new space is so regal and retro cool (i call it the titanic), seems to be nicer than any ny ksher restaurant (havent been to Reserve Cut/SHO yet). and their steaks are still as good or better than anyones (the reserve cut is still my favorite). the way we see it, for a one time a year night out, pg is the safest bet.

We tried the waffle chicken app, which is probably the best app i have every got (sweet melt in your mouth chicken nuggets in waffle batter with an amazingly perfect dippping sauce), and the cooked spicy salmon on crispy rice is still amazing.

We also tried the prime rib special, which i thought wasnt amazing or worth it, but it was huge and bascally tasted like the best prime rib u would get at a really expensive wedding. My wife personally loved the prime rib but she is crazy (and pregnant). there was also some funky tomatoes and onions with the prime rib, that i thought tasted like very good matjes herring.

overall a great night of feeling like a king and queen, and there was nothing i didnt like (even the decaf parve latte at end was great!) and if i had room would have tried one of the desserts (they had something about chocolate babka ice cream with bourbon that sounded amazing).

I've been there about 5 times for work and 5 for fun, ad never had an "awful" or even bad experience. must say that prime Ko is just not my feel (way too loud and crazy), but PG just has this aura of class that just cant be beat in kosher dining.

I've had 2 subpar experiences though granted that one was the week they reopened.
Perhaps I'll give them 1 more chance.

First off you can't compare PG pricing to Les Marais. Second, there is no bashing, but lately people have had bad experiences there, myself included. The first few times I went there I loved it. And PG is definitely not a quiet place, every table is on top of each there.
