Been to Etc Steakhouse a bunch of times and enjoyed it, but thinking of switching it up. Anyone been to Nobo across the street?

Thanks.

Ambiance is definitely nicer. The steaks are good not great. Stay away from the short ribs. They often have a "special" for an entree which is very good but pricey. Their burger is great! Great flavor and quality.

Why? Had the short ribs was the best entree

Tried the short ribs twice. Just found them to be underwhelming. Now the ribs at etc (with the chocolate sauce).... those were amazing.

Any restaurants that offer a tasting menu?

So where do you go when Pardes gets boring?

Couldn't disagree more (except with the fact that the ambiance and service are 10x nicer).

Was there last night and got Lamb Riblets (probably top 5 appies I've ever gotten anywhere, along with Duck Gnocchi from Mikes, and Chicken Strips at T-Fusion), Crisp Veal Salumi Flatbread, Short Ribs, and 16 oz steak special (which was one of the best steaks I've had).

Is this from ETC or Nobo?

Nobo. One of the best restaurants in NYC area, IMHO.

You are right on with the Lamb riblets. I was remiss in not mentioning them. Maybe I will have to give the short ribs another shot. The 16 oz USDA Prime steak( I am assuming that is the one you had ordered?) is a relatively recent addition and have yet to try it. Definitely on my to order list.
