If you've been to Mike's and are in the mood for something different, give Nobo a try.

Went to Talias Steakhouse last night with my wife and her sis and bro in law. We got two appetizers, four entrees, and a bottle of wine (groupon for four).

 The rank:

Lamb lollipops-  8/10
Thai Beef salad- 7/10- came with a  few pcs of meat (as an appy its ok), meat was rare, and i got a mouthful of dressing in one bite which was not pleasant

Prime rib for one- 5/10- grilled well, but no flavor
Pepper crusted filet mignon- 7/10- grilled perfectly to medium rare, but again, not much flavor
Middle eastern marinated grilled chicken- 7/10
Middle eastern kebab platter- 7/10

Ambiance: It was loud, pretty crowded, and hard to hear the person sitting across from you.

Disclaimer: Entrees are not suppose to come with the original side dishes when using the groupon, but two of our plates ended up with them anyways!

Its okay but my favorite is Pizza Time in Brooklyn (Ave J and 14th) if you get a fresh slice right out of the oven theres nothing better also there square slices are amazing.

Agreed
couldn't disagree more, I think it is not good at all, everything looks amazing I tried like half of the pies that they had, as well as things like garlic knots and fries ect. when I first heard about them, however would not eat there again

Top 3 pizza in NYC, but worst service of any pizza store I've ever been to. And always tough to find a table.

Not even close. They are the best pizza I've had in NYC. I love the original and the Fresh Mozzarella with tomatoes.
Personally not the biggest fan of Pizza Time.

I used to love Pizza Time, but have since gotten over it.

The grandma sicilian slice at Bravo is excellente, not sure I rave about the rest though.

Looking forward to trying this Rafaello place, as it seems Txt and I are buds of similar taste.

(See what I did there?)

There was a place called Rosa's in the Empire State Building that was excellent.

meh, Bravo Downtown is ok, but considering price is not that great (think very good classic grandma pizzas, not gamechanging special pizza). I think the machlokes re bravo being packed or not is not a true machlokes b'mitzius, one mehalach is the midtown location and the other is downtown.

Cravings was much better than any kosher pizza i have had (their Mushroom madness, bianco and sally pies were the best kosher pizza i ever had imho). Hoping to try rafaello too, has potential. Pizza D' Solo is also really good for their truffle slices and quattro formaggio (if u like white cheese), but they are pretty expensive.

I was referring to Bravo Midtown. I've never been there at a normal time and it not been crowded.
