I'm out.
Just consider that when everyone else who posts gives you a minus sign you may just have to take a few steps back and reconsider.

I thought I'm only just arguing with you?

Ok, I'll go back and try me some fried mac n cheese balls. And the next time you're in Brooklyn make sure to stop by Pardes and order the Tongue Pizza (hand-made dough, homemade sauce, eggplant, basil and sliced tongue). Deal?

We'll reconvene then.

Ill go back and try me some fried mac n cheese balls.
The balls are great but it's their pastas and sauces that are excellent.
Capri panini is also a winner.

I was there last Motzei Shabbos- didn't see what all the hype was about... The place was jam packed, so I guess it is a pretty popular place. Not crazy about the underground, low ceiling dungeony feel
+1.

I think its overhyped & overpriced

This is an Italian place- pizza is traditional Italian fare, not necessarily fast food.
+1, Noi Due came into this conversation following pizza discussion.
According to PlatinumGuy, it's the best pizza in NYC.
Going into a place that people rave about their homemade pastas, raviolis, gnocchis, and the plethora of homemade sauce choices for each of those dishes and ordering pizza and fries and saying you weren't impressed is like going to a steakhouse and ordering a burger and saying you weren't impressed.

There's nothing wrong with pizza or burgers, it's just that I'd assume it's on the menu for kids.  I'd go to a burger joint or pizza shop to order those items.
It seemed from some people's statements that their pizza is not pizza shop style, rather real pizza (i.e. not for kids). That being said you can't judge their pasta from their pizza (like you can't judge a steakhouse's aged Black Angus steak from trying their soup, not necessarily the burger).

Don't want to get into this all over again, but I don't judge one dish by trying the other. I will however judge a restaurant based on the quality and taste of whatever food they put in front of me.

It's very crowded because it's very cheap. The food is extremely good. Everyone I know loves it. The key is not to go at busy times.

It is objectively for 2 people in Manhattan. You can also easily have a good meal for half of that.

I honestly have no idea how you managed to blow $160 where the entrees are $17.

Anyone have any experience going on a Sunday afternoon for lunch? Dont mind waiting a little, but if it is always insanely packed on a Sunday I have no interest waiting an hour for a table.
