they look like sliders
were they decent sized burgers?

Yeah. Decent sized. They were smaller in circumference but thicker. A bit on the small side, nonetheless.

Hi, i want to go to a nice restaurant for our Anniversary.
Which do you recommend for good service, good food, and price range for couple, more or less $100:
Wolf & Lamb, Roof on Bentley, or Le Marais? I was already at Abigaels...

Le Marais has a very nice ambiance about it - food is very good, see the wiki for the must haves.

There is a new kosher food truck in midtown to compete with Grill on Wheels. Its called "Schnitzi"

http://schnitzi.com/index.php
Passed by today and picked up a menu. Not terrible prices for Midtown. Hashgacha is Rabbi Yisroel P. Gornish and there is a mashgiach on the truck at all times.

My wife and I went to Amsterdam Burger last night and it was great! We got there at 7 and didn't have to wait at all for a table.
We ordered the zuchini sticks ($7) and large buffalo wings ($12) as appeteizers. The buffalo wings were really good and the large order came with about 20 wings. My wife ordered the turkey burger with guacamole ($15) which she enjoyed very much and said was not dry at all. I got the mushroom and onion burger ($16) which was delicous. They only cook their burgers medium-well which I normally don't like but the burger was not dry at all, I even saw some pink in there, and there was a nice crust on the burger which I really liked. We also shared an order of fries ($5), which reminded me a bit of solo's fries.
My only complaint is that the tables are literally on top of each other, but overall was a great night and would recommend for someone looking for a higher end burger place.

It's not Manhattan, but Bistro in Lawrence/Cedarhurst has the best steak sandwich I've ever had. I was a huge fan of the Cafe Rimon one but this is even better....

They have some pretty good appetizers as well. Overall a very solid choice.

Better than the old Cafe Rimon Philly steak sandwich?
Surely you just don't remember how good it was  ;D

Otherwise guess I'll need to try it next time.

I ordered it once and there was no meat inside, just mushroom and onions. They switched it for me right away, of course. Really good sandwich!

Yes, it is and this comes from someone who ate about 3 a week for 5 years and still binge eats them every few months.

Tell them to leave out the mushrooms and its basically the same sandwich, only with better meat and a more flavorful sauce

Another bonus is that they stay good at room temperature for a couple hours so you can take it on a flight.
