You guys weren't kidding about those mac 'n cheese balls at Noi Due! Now I have a new food to crave. Next time it's a double order as my main! The margarita pizza was great (I love fresh mozarella), the gnocchi (usually my favorite) was surprisingly not even close to the best I've ever had...they seemed like the kind from the freezer that I make at home..all in all a very good experience, yes, they rush you, but I appreciate that because that's how I was able to get a table rather quickly on a busy night during the 9 days! can't have it both ways  :)

Gotham Burger in NYC had some interesting fish items on the menu for the nine days

I tried

-Seared honey salmon on garlic spinach and mustard mashed potatoes
-Fish and chips made with lemon sole
-Fried fish sandwich: a tilapia fillet served on a pretzel bun with Cajun slaw

fantastic
Were the prices reasonable?

Went to Pizza Da Solo today. It's a small place inside the Sony building. Looks really cute in the style of what you imagine an Italian Pizzeria to look like (although the Kosher pizza places in Italy don't look like your imagination). There's no seating inside, but there's a huge Sony atrium to eat in with plenty of tables.

The pizza is sold as 9-10" personal pies, which I would say is like a large personal pie. The plain, margherita pizza is $13 (which is crazy IMO as you weren't getting much more pizza than you would from 2 regular-sized slices) and it wasn't too great. They use some weird cheese that's not mozzarella, and it wasn't exactly my thing (although I did eat most of it). Snapple was $2.50.

Anyway, that's my short TR.

Ha looks like he liked it. Apparently it is made with mozzarella, but it definitely did not taste like regular pizza. Nu nu.

Where in Lawrence can one find Cholov Yisroeal Frozen Yogurt? Israeli style where you can pick your fruit combo

(I know it's the wrong thread but can't find a right 1)

Worth the price ?
That's a relative question….. like everything in life marginal utility decreases and the 1 $40 pizza isn't worth 3 $15s… Still a pretty cheap meal for Manhattan.

I don't think there is a Cholov Yisroel place with that kind of yogurt in the 5T though I may be wrong
