So I signed up to it and, indeed, the "collections items" section is empty! That's awesome news! I'm starting to feel like my own self again and my mind is racing with ideas for a super app-o-rama to follow shortly...

In the meantime I gotta close this issue fully and put it behind me and make sure it doesn't bite me back..
Does anyone see a problem with me contacting the collection agency by phone and paying them?
If I negotiate the amount down could that ever be reported?
What would be the best method of payment to pay the CA?

Also.. Is Citi identity monitor only for experian? That's the one I saw. I thought it was for all 3 bureaus but I don't see an option where to retrieve the other two?

Does that mean initiating contact in writing as well or can I contact them by phone and say I will pay only once I get their letter stating that they won't report anything?

Also this is not really a PFD because there's nothing there for them to delete. Where would I be able to find a sample letter for my situation?

I use truecredit.com its ran by TU, it comes with an updated score from all 3 credit bureaus.
I get email updates anytime a new account was opened & for any new inquiry.  You could also update your TU everyday.
