Disappearing hard inquiries?

Summary: Did app-o-rama with BofA, Barclays, Chase on my TU. Got 1 pull for BofA for my 2BM, and 1 pull for Chase for my 2BM there, but my Barclays 2BM got me 2 pulls. However I was only approved for one of the cards in my Barclays 2BM.

However now Credit Karma is saying I only have 3 hard inqs on my TU. Did the extra one from Barclays drop off? Anyone else have that happen to them?

The day after the pull they can disappear but will return the next day. Not sure if this what happened to you.

I did my BofA 2BM on Sept 28th, my Barclays 2BM on Oct 7th, and my Chase 2BM yesterday.

Up until today my CK said I had 3 INQs, then when I updated it this morning it said I had a new hard inq from Chase, but it still said I only have 3 total. So I thought maybe I got lucky and one of the Barclays pulls dropped off for some reason.

Get your TU report and see what is going on. Use the dispute trick to get a free online report.

Since Barclays denied me on my 2nd app, I can go get my TU report for free within 60 days right?

he's referring to adifferent thing. we discussed removing a pull by dispute, he's talking about getting a free copy of his report by acting as you wanna start a new dispute online, but you dont need to actuallly dispute something :)

I refreshed my Credit Karma again just now, and it's saying my new Barclays card I was approved for last week was opened in Dec 31st 1969  ???

That's great. I wouldn't complain, but I would also check other credit reporting agencies to confirm the date. Nice.

Got a direct copy, looks like they did remove the 2nd inquiry Barclay's did, so good news for me.

It didn't give me any info about the 1969 open date for my new Barclay's card. It's too new I think because it doesn't even give me an account open date yet for it.

I also have 2 recently opened Barclay's showing Dec 1969 on my CK. Exp does not show the accounts and EQ shows the correct dates on both accounts. Wish there was a TU backdoor. I think I remember from programming class this is a computer default glitch where dates must be calculated from 1969. I also had the missing inq with CK once. It occurred over serveral day and kept change from 4 to 3 to 4 to 3, etc. I never looked further into it.

Did a Amex 3BM and 2 inquiries a day apart.  All personal cards. Anything to do?
