I would guess the Office max is better as the original price is double the Staples one.
More expensive doesn't always mean better.

True but double the price in the same kind of store is a decent indicator. More importantly check this out!
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

Seems to be $120 again.  What's better this one http://www.officemax.com/office-furniture/chairs/product-prod2980602?cm_mmc=CJ-_-Dansdeals.com-_-OfficeMax+-+Homepage-_-2164838&affcode=CJ
or the staples deal http://www.staples.com/office/supplies/StaplesProductDisplay?cm_mmc=CJ-_-361116-_-361116-_-10422268&langId=-1&storeId=10001&krypto=DSEyihbZxiqSLDIAsRiox%2FHP2g5YGSB11l9WMwT6h83mpsI1sZLveiNu9hTK9qtXTGJdaY03tFFe%0Aul4yhtejB5wXDOEBglG7L28AB5hMaxYPRYMmgCL26D8UiF8PDqi6qWtID3ErRQFdRL5j6HsaXaiP%0AoL5XKqIH4Z%2FASNvIdRnV8k75cnqrUIN27s9mn0tC1DPtKr3244Fc%2F0thM7K%2B7sp1HUEXWNom5IpO%0ARcvxWC4%3D?
never mind- seems to be in store only and out of stock in most stores...
