See if you can find out a ballpark figure of how much he did. That would be a useful DP.
A lot, he was losing weight rapidly and needed new size clothes every other week, he basically used it as his wardrobe ... he did call customer service before doing that and got their express permission...

They probably also differentiate between returning new/unopened products and when you try to return a half eaten box of food or a used appliance.

See, that's what they don't like.

I don't think so. You think that gets entered into the computer?

It would make sense for them to track it, if they can resell the item then you haven't caused them much of a loss.

Think thats true because I returned shorts from 2012, brand new with the tags, and the person who was putting it in the system told someone else that these good are "unsellable because they are from 2012."

Trying to figure out what that has to do with the return policy

That may be, but it doesn't seem like that is actually done.

They can't exactly put a 4 year old product back on the shelves. Once they don't carry it anymore they can't resell it.

I think that is quite obvious.

My question is, how does that effect future returns? What is the need of putting that in the system?

When an item is not salable it eats into their profits. When you become an unprofitable customer it's time for you to go.

Oh, I misunderstood your point. I think that if they deem you to be a not as profitable customer then they'll stop you from doing as many returns.

Brooklyn is very strict Lakewood usually chilled
Brooklyn Costco makes up their own rules. Rego Park is a pleasure, and has indoor parking which is nice in bad weather.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Only if it's a Kirkland brand. Anything else gets passed on to the suppliers. That's how it works with big retail, unless they really need you, they can make it very hard on suppliers to make a profit.

I didn't say it doesn't get pushed back but the process still costs them money and is bad for business.

Which store? Did you try a different one?

Lawrence. Didn't bother with a different one, just threw it out. I got good use out of it either way.
