Would like to take my wife in June (2 days), but BA doesn't show any flights (NY or Bal to SXM). Looking to fly from Baltimore to anywher in carribean but prefer to use southwest/avios and spg for hotel. Any suggestions?

December Xmas/New Years 2014-2015 Westin Dawn for redeeming points requires
-minimum 7 night stay, total 92,000 points
-15% tax on rack rate, comes out to $650 ( I called twice and they said these are not a tax (taxes are included in points)
-$3400 charge on credit card the day of booking, which will be refunded, not sure when
-90 day cancellation policy, if cancel before 90 days, lose $3400
-resort fee $20 night, I understand this

is above new or standard during holiday weeks??

I stayed at the radisson blue, it was pretty nice. You can drive around the whole island in around an hour maybe slightly 1.5 hours if you do a circle around the whole island. Maho beach is great for plane watching.

I stayed at the Simpson Bay Resort and Marina, it was really nice.

The chabad there is awesome! They have a bit of kosher food (meat, cheeses, ice cream) that you can buy from them and may have shabbos meals. Call them in advance.

has anyone stayed here if yes what did you do with the kosher food you brought if your brought any? Spoke with hotel and as of now they dont want to accommodate my food in there freezers.
