can i just use my current car insurance to cover my rental for cdw and liability, and just decline all insurances when i rent a car?
sure
Only if you carry full coverage on your car. If you have liability only then it will not extend to a rental
Will not work at all?I don't think that is right as I heard otherwise from geico. And for CDW the CC insurance can be used
They will extend the liability coverage to accidents that you may cause to to others while driving the rental vehicle but not damage to the actual car
I am renting a car in LA. Im going for business and pleasure. I have the United business card and gieco insurance. I know in CA there is no liability coverage. Can I decline all insurances (liability, CDW etc)?
So geico won't cover the LI?
Call to confirm.
IIRC they will. Call to confirm.
Does anyone know, if an Israeli is an Au on a card will he be covered?
Good question, I was wondering the same thing. What's the risk to the account holder? That the ppl won't pay any charges they incur? Anything else?
Are you guys becoming insurance "brokers"? It's a great business idea.
Interesting...
