In Brooklyn do you have to go to the road test with a car that has dual brakes bec legally when you are practicing with a permit in Brooklyn you need them

I also passed on my first try I took it in orangeberg ny near monsey there was not a single car on the road when I took it including parked cars except one which she told me to park behind

Not sure where you took you test, but in NY/NJ its not that it is difficult, but the test givers make sure to write anythig you do wrong as a point off. If you take one hand off the wheel it is -1 point, so it does make it a little more difficult when you deal with that. Plus there is the nervous factor.

It is a NY thing, or more precise a NYC thing. We don't take it in a parking lot like miami does

Even so... how hard can it be to put your seatbelt on, keep your hands at 10 and 2, use your signals, and come to a complete stop at a stop sign?
