To Unlock the Spint IPhone it costs $125.

I wouldn't recommend shipping internationally if this is your first time

According to what you wrote above, you can make $300...
Now if those aren't the real number then you, indeed, have a dilemma...

I would try selling it just regular without ebay, for example on dansdeals. You can try putting up for sale on the thread that's for people who want to sell their iPhone 5 & just write that I didn't get it yet & that when I find the best margin between what the buyer is offering & the gigabyte I will order it then.

Nobody will make a good offer on an iPhone you didn't get yet. Especially if they are backed up and the exact shipping date is not known.

That is a true point, but at least it will give him a feel if he can make the amount of money that he could sell it on ebay for & without having to pay ebay fees, so even if the value drops from when he actually has it in his hands, he can still possibly make money not only cut even because he doesn't have to pay for any ebay fees.

Sprint iPhones don't come unlocked.
Verizon one do.
Even if Sprint gets unlocked it wont work in the USA on ATT or T-Mobile

Really? No matter what? Even after you end service with Sprint?

@sky121 - CDMA v. GSM
Ummm...

Verizon has the same technology in their iPhone as the Sprint one, just that Sprint blocks the use of using it in USA with GSM Service.

(the only way it could be used is with an international SIM roaming)

And that's the longer explanation :)

if i have 2 free and clear plans that are stuck with the blackberry tour and i want to close both lines but both are eligible for an upgrade, is there anyway to take advantage of the upgrade and then close the account without a loss?
