Last time I ate at yeshiva in CH was when the sign said that the meatball were mezonos :P

meatballs, i've never heard, but the spaghetti is already mezonos, so the bracha is usually covered...

IIRC:
If the flour is there for taste, to fill you up (-cheap on meat), or sight, then many hold its mezonoz.
The only time we do not make a mezonos on something containing flour is if its only a binder.
There is a stira whether the chazon ish held gefilta fish is mezonos or not. ...

You think that's bad? My brother's Yeshiva had fries for supper. Another night of the week they served hot gefilte fish.
