Salt, I'm told is ok, as long as you drink enough water.
The slower digesting the food is the better, ie whole carbs, proteins...

I would agree, but DWs family tradition is to make it from the chicken that was used to cook the soup.

For many years I would make a point to kasher the kapporos chickens and have them today, but I guess I am too old for that now. Maybe when more of the kids are older.

also "dynaSea crab-style-cakes". Great baked hot and crispy, dipped into spicy mayo. Eating anything that I may crave tomorrow. This way there will not be anything else to think about. only davening.
