Bagel Dogs

They don't sell kosher ones anymore AFAIK. So I assume they are homemade. Correct?

I recently bribed my sister into making a batch for me....they were pretty awesome. Only problem is I am having a hard time finding a brand of hot dogs that I really enjoy. Most have a slight chemically, filler, plastic-type taste to them. Not meaty enough.

What's the oilam's favorite?

(and yes I have tried A&H and one pack (that was kosher l'pesach from costco) was really good but recently not impressed)

I haven't had those in ages. I'm gonna dream about them for a long time now. Any leftovers?

Still waiting for the recipe...

The recipe of the ones I had: http://www.circle-b-kitchen.com/food-and-recipes/2012/2/17/homemade-bagel-dogs.html

Ever try Jack's gourmet sausages?

Yes. They are quite good but not for bagel dogs (tried it) I think because they are too big and sausagey.

Recipe?

How were the Meal Mart ones?

Meal Mart has a few types I think. I seem to remember them having very solid franks. They also make types that are a mix of meats (I think they call it classic) which taste different. I think I had one package that didn't taste to my liking but it may have been a defective package/batch. Not sure though.

Try the A&H garlic salami sausages IMO the best kosher hot dogs
