It is when the sushi has flown over 1,000 miles.

Try it with a Jalapeno bagel with garlic crunch.

Well it was fun eating at home while it lasted.

First cooking dinner for myself in a while.

Pan seared whisky peppercorn chicken breast on top of wild mushroom rice pilaf.

Homemade Mozzarella Sticks!

Really easy recipe.

String cheese (sliced in half so easier to work with). Rolled in flour, dipped in egg, rolled in flour again. A final dunk in the egg and then covered in  panko. I prepped all the cheese and then fried in about 1/4 inch oil in a deep pan. About 3 min total and then drained on paper towels.

Maybe 15 minuets total prep and cooking. Yield 20 delicious oozey gooey crunchy Mozerella Sticks.

Next time I would possibly add some spices to the flour to add some zing! Perhaps some crushed red pepper, oregano and/or garlic powder.

Good idea. I made some frozen ones to day and was let down. So I'll have to do your way next time.

Also I used olive oil so that could have been the problem :-/

LOL!

Reminds me of a time in Yeshiva right after Chanukah where we didn't have any Pam or butter so we made scrambled eggs with olive oil. Turns out it wasn't the edible type of oil, it was pommace oil or something.
