A 10lb co2 tank with a bottle cap adapter is far more economical, IMHO.
Lasts for a really long time and can refill for pennies.

For those worried about carbonation in their seltzer.
There are 3 main factors in carbonation.

1. Temperature of the liquid being carbonated.
2. Amount of headspace (empty space between liquid and the cap) in the bottle.
3. Amount of nucleation points in the container. Nucleation points are points of roughness on the container.
Flavorings etc have no effect on carbonation.

So to properly carbonate your beverage, get it really cold before you carbonate and keep it cold.
Minimize the amount of headspace in the container and use a really smooth container to minimize nucleation points.
Carbonating while cold is by far the most important factor.

Any models just to make a 355ml can?

If I but the model on DDMS, and just want to drink one can a day will the bubbles last in the bottle till the next day?

Of course.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Assuming it works just as well.

Hock Q: Do you have to tovel the carbonator since the tip is metal?

The tip that touches the carbonator is plastic, but the top of the carbonator is definitely metal. Have seen that on several models.

Does anyone know if the Ocean Spray Cranberry flavor has a hashgacha?
The OU is right on the actual bottle!
(The reason it's not on the OU list is because it's a new flavor.)

Soda Stream is an Israeli company, no?  They should make kosher l'pesach flavors.  I would for sure buy a new machine.

eta - I realize that a new machine would not be necessary, but I would not feel comfortable using something has sat on my counter all year.

I wasn't able to find an actual bottle in a store. Was going to order online but the pictures didn't show the OU.
I have since found it in a store. Thanks

Yes, it's impressive to see that every single bottle has a large, bold OU symbol with the full word, "Kosher" printed right next to it.
We have: orange, Dr. Pete, cola, cherry cola, Kool-Aid, Country Time Lemonade, ginger ale,
and Ocean Spray Cranberry (of which the original pre-made drink in the stores only has a triangle-K vs. this OU + has NO corn syrup!)

Do the soda flavors work well for making lightly flavored seltzer or sparkling water, or do you need to buy the expensive little glass bottles of MyWater flavors?
Does anyone have experience with this?
