Spent a few minutes scratching my head until you linked the pic... first reaction was "no way. I recognize my pics" then I realized you went with 25% of a pic- an unrecognizable 25% at that...

I'm more surprised that there's a thread dedicated to Avatars. But this is DDF so I guess I shouldn't be.

Sorry... I actually loved your pictures. But I needed just a part that didn't have anything exciting in it.

And I also wouldn't have been brave enough to fly in that flimsy airplane!

I hate being caught up with avatars, but...

I am considering switching the backdrop of my avatar to an American Flag. The idea would be twofold - first, it's July 4th season, and second, with a rising contingent of people disrespecting the flag, I want to show my support to it.

Should I make this my avatar? Should I do it permanently, or just until after 'July 4th season'? Is a temporary change just confusing for people, or does it make it interesting? Lastly, do you like this design, or should I make changes?
