Even on full auto the pictures will be light and day compared to a regular P&S.

It's a great camera. You're best off learning to use the non-auto modes, but even on auto it takes excellent pictures.

So our 6 month old A5000 had a slight fall, and must have gotten dented.
Sony's repair team said it'll cost 170 to repair, so I may just sell the camera and buy a cheaper one.

Any deals going on? Looking for sub-$200

For a non-pro, does it work well as a camera? I would buy a sub 200 point and shoot, but thinking about getting this instead and using it as my camera. Does that make sense?
