I can't wait to use if with my Peak Design Lens Clip. I love that thing to death, but I need to undo my whole belt to position it comfortably. Not anymore...

As an aside, remember what happened to my pants in Cuba when it was weighed down by my Hydroflask :-X :-X :-X? Boom - problem solved.

I was thinking about getting it to go with a spider holster, but the black widow is not strong enough for my body, and the spiderpro has its own belt so this special is irrelevant.
I was not aware of the Peak Design line. Would you recommend their Camera Clips as an alternative to the spider systems?
If they are worthwhile, Ill grab a belt today on special, for when I am ready to get a peak design clip.

Consider them marked! :D

I ordered the Tamrac belt, and will get a Peak Design Camera Clip when either:
1. They go on a good sale
2. I can afford one
3. I expect to realistically get enough use out of it to justify the expense

:)
Thanks!

Ruggard Thunderhead 75 camera bag on sale today for $99, instead of the usual $249.

This is comparable in size and type to the Lowepro ProRunner 450 which I love blah blah blah (tired of me saying this yet ;)?), but actually better. It sits on your back more comfortably when loaded, and the pockets are more useful and much better thought out. I do give the Lowepro an edge in the tripod carrier system, it's somewhat better balanced. But if you're not using an exceptionally large or heavy tripos the Ruggard wins overall.

This bag was also designed by yours truly, so I may have a slight bias here ;D.

If it was designed by you then what are the covers doing on the lenses in the pictures of this item??  :P

Wow - pretty great deal: Yongnuo 50mm f/1.8 lens for Canon for $50 at B&H.

The Canon (and Nikon) 50mm f/1.8 has long been the cheapest and simplest way to take your camera and kit lens to the next level. If you wan't to take portraits with lovely out of focus backgrounds, this is the lens for you. At around $100-120, they were always great value.

Some two years ago Yongnuo came out with this lens, and it's a near-perfect clone of the Canon. I've tested Yongnuo products extensively, and their quality is top-notch. Now I haven't used this lens myself (I shoot Nikon), but everything I've read says that it's pretty much exactly like the Canon.

Now, at fifty bucks, it's an absolute steal. If you have any canon DSLR and only the kit lens (or even if you have one of the cheaper teles as well (such as the 55-250), this is an absolute no-brainer.

Yup just finished watching one... Not bad for a knock off... Definitely a bargain for your buck at $50

The only difference I see between the two linked products are that one is an international version and one is US. Did I miss anything?

And if this is the price then why would SF's price on the refurbished be a deal?

I've never seen the Gray market that low. They're both deals... One new and no warranty, one refurb with warranty. Considering Amex, I'd go for the gray.

Samsung NX3000 mirrorless camera with 20-50mm and 50-200mm lenses for for $379 at B&H (Original price $799). Amazon has this (plus a case) for $627.

This is a very solid mirrorless camera, with the same sensor size as the Sonys and APS-C DSLRs. It has a touchscreen, wi-fi, flash - the works, plus it includes a copy of Adobe Lightroom.

Do people actually use it as a baby monitor?!
