What is my best option to park for a hour or less, tomorrow around midday, in the vicinity of 41st street and 3rd avenue?
Are there parking meters? or what is the best garage option? What will it cost?

Terribly sad and frustrating what king Bloomy has done to this (OUR) city (let him go back to Boston), almost everywhere in midtown is not "street parkable" for us regular folks, rather almost always "only commercial vehicles".  So what I see most of the time is half the spaces not taken half the time, only to satisfy his majesty King Bloomy's desire and craze that there shall be no cars in Manhattan.

Thank G_d at least he didn't have his way with his "congestion pricing" meshugas.

Actually usually most of the commercial spots are taken. When my company makes deliveries in the city we have to park illegally and put an extra guy on the truck to stay there while making the delivery, so as not to get a ticket.
Let`s not even talk about where trucks can drive and can`t drive. I got 2 point on my license for driving on a non-commercial route, the officer claimed I could have stayed on the commercial route for  3 more blocks. I hired a lawyer but still couldn`t get the points off.

I live a few blocks away.  Your best bet, as long as its only an hour or less, is to park on Lex south of 34th st and walk from there.  There are just no muni meter spaces near where you're going.  primospot.com is also a good option.
