this is a quote from my "chat" with capital one:  main point: .5 cent cashback

Justin: *Hi! My name is Justin. How may I help you today?

you: Visa® Business Platinum with Double No Hassle MilesSM

you: when converting miles to cash back is it one cent per dollar?

Justin: I appreciate your interest in Capital One.

Justin: Let me explain that for you.

Justin: With the Double No Hassle Miles card, you can either opt for the miles rewards or 0.5% cash back on all your business related purchases.

Justin: With No Hassle Miles, you get flexible redemption options: redeem for travel, cash back, merchandise, and more.

Justin: So, do you wish to know the features and APR for this card before you apply?

this is why the sams club card sucks:

Qouted from their site:
Quote
SAM’S CLUB ADVANTAGE PLUS MEMBERS
Amount of Year-to-Date Purchases Percentage of Purchase
(including the current Purchase) Eligible for Rebate
Upto $1,500 0.25%
$1,500.01 - $3,000 0.50%
$3,000.01 - $5,000 1.00%
$5,000.01 - $10,000 1.75%
$10,000.01 - $1,000,000 2.00%
SAM’S CLUB ADVANTAGE MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS
Amount of Year-to-Date Purchases Percentage of Purchase
(including the current Purchase) Eligible for Rebate
Upto $1,500 0.25%
$1,500.01 - $3,000 0.50%
$3,000.01 - 1,000,000 1.00%
If a Purchase causes Year-to-Date Purchases to span multiple rebate tiers, the applicable
rebate percentage for each spanned tier will apply to that portion of the Purchase falling within
such tier. For example, if a Cardholder who is a SAM’S CLUB® Advantage member already
has Year-to-Date Purchases totaling $2,000, makes an additional $2,000 Purchase, $1,000 of
that additional purchase would be eligible for a 0.50% rebate and the remaining $1,000 would
be eligible for a 1.00% rebate.

why does that mean it sucks - i dont get it.

lets make a calculation - if you spend $1,000,000 a year, its 2% on $900,000 - thats $19,800 + $87.50 for 5-10k + $20 for 3-5k + $7.50 + $3.75 = $19,918.75 - $100 annual fee = $19,818.75

is there something i'm missing?

Avi thanks for all your help i'm getting the amex plum and a visa ... I will let you know which one.

Amex Plum is only if you pay off in full, make sure you're able to do that. It says you get a discount on you're next bill, not sure if that makes a difference to you as opposed to cashback

I send it from bill pay from my bank account, I would NOT recommend doing that, because uve never don't it before and going from 3-150k is way too much

Prepaying 150K will all but guarantee an F/R.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

If you're legit, does that matter?

I did it, no Fr sofar. i actually did a lot more than 150k. I sent them a bank wire. First i tried doing 10k and making a charge more than 3,000 and it worked np. I am going to try to put through a big charge tomorrow.
It is a business card, not sure if that makes a difference.... and i have had more than one FR before, not sure if that makes a difference either...

You also have to keep in mind that even if you'll pass a FR if it comes, you money will be tied up for a bit and you can't use it.

Is there a way to get the amex plum with 2 Percent cash back?
