I'm looking for Statue of Liberty tickets for 6/24, from Battery Park. Statue Cruise site is sold out. Is there any other place to purchase the tickets? Thanks

Hi, just wondering if it's worth saving a few bucks to fly into EWR vs JFK? We are staying on 36th St. and 9th Ave.  If timing matters, visiting in June.

Thanks for your input.
What transportation mode are you using? EWR might not save much after transportation is figured in.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

It is porbaby a similar cost by Uber from JFK. Rides are priced at lower nj rates + 20 for tolls. Just avoid the Newark or Elizabeth marked taxis and it is fine.

NJ transit trains are pretty cheap as well. Slightly more thab subway + AirTrain JFK but similar price to LIRR.

Any ideas for a day trip in manhattan with young kids and not too much walking and relatively close to an eatery?

Was thinking hudson yards but it seems it's only walking  :-\
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

You could do statue of liberty from lower Manhattan - close to bravo.

Empire state observatory or hop on/off bus could work also.

Hahah.

But if the executive board let it go is it worth it for 3 - 8 year olds?

Completely mixed reviews from what I'm seeing so far, some people with young kids loved it and others said not.

I think Gullivers Gates was cute but the novelty wore off after a bit and I think young kids may get bored and it could be very crowded. How about the Childrenís Museum of Manhattan? I havenít been there in years. Or Central Park zoo if weather is good. (Oh yeah, not too much walking). Or Intrepid.

Central Park Zoo is fairly small, but still nice, so it's not a ton of walking.
