Where in NYC would be a good place to take someone to get their first nice watch (women's)?

Is there somewhere with great customer service, plentiful options that are not super expensive, and won't up-sell or pressure us etc?

Sorry I didn't see this until now, but SD w/ masks you can get at YI of Midwood at Ocean Ave. and L, or YI of Ave. J at 18th and J. I was invited to a backyard minyan on Ave. I between E. 17 and 18, but did not go so can't confirm current status. My son also told me that Frankel's on E. 21 between I and J has a partitioned section for mask-wearers.
