Hi
i am looking for a 2 day stay at the last week of February, i'm embarrassed to say that i live in NY but never visited Manhattan besides of passing the FDR and West side Highway on the way to the city .....

Hotel is not my first priority, rather go visit places, So whats the top 10 places that i should visit while i'm there

if there is another open thread for that, please direct me

Firstly, Manhattan is THE city

Activities are posted in the wiki. Are you looking to pay for activities or free ones. A couple of must see places: ground zero, Empire State Building, Times Square, FAO Shwartz, canal street. Wall streets lame since you can't go inside anymore ( the bull is still there

)

Also, maybe base your trip around which restaurant you'll visit or don't and experience the subway.

Go to FAO Shwartz. Its a huge toystore. Just don't buy any of there overpriced stuff. Easily can spend 2 hours. Next door is Sony Museum which is also free, though might be too advanced for the kids.
