... as for Prime Grill... -1 ... ambiance was nice... portions were nice...  food was decent.. I guess for the amount of money I spent there with the wife, it just wasn't worth it  :-\

I prefer Le Marais or Clubhouse to Prime Grill.
Much better value for great food.

I am contemplating a 1-2 night stay in the city and narrowed it down to the following options;

W New York (Lexington and 49th) -I stayed here once in a suite
Westin NY @ Times Sqare (W 43rd)
Le Parker Meridien (W 56th)

Any reccomendations on which to go with?

Part of my thinking is that these are all pretty close walking distance to Cafe K for Brunch and Les Marais/Clubhouse for dinner.

NYC has some of the worlds top museums. The Met is ranked as one of the top 8 museums in the world by Lonely Planet. The met is humongous taking up about a 1/4 of a mile and is located on Museum mile, a mile long stretch of fifth Ave with another 10 museums. It can take several days or more to go through the entire Met.

The Jewish Museum located at 92nd street and 5th Ave contains the largest collection of Jewish art and culture outside of museums in Israel.

The Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum is an exciting place for kids and adults alike. It's basically an aircraft carrier from WWII turned into a museum for all stuff sear-air-space. There's also a submarine nearby which allows tours inside. I've been here many times over the years.
